Cobra Ethnic Food Week

Cobra Ethnic Food Week got underway yesterday, running November 7th – 11th as an initiative between Cobra Beer, the RAI and WhereToEat.ie.

Locally, one of my favourite food haunts, Royal Spice, are participating and eating out at any one of the restaurants list on the site can get you a free Cobra beer with a set two-course €22.50 menu.

The past two Fridays have seen me dine at Royal Spice (hell I’d eat there every day of the week if I could both afford it and know my body would handle seven days straight of Indian cuisine) but ducking in there this week before Thursday (if you’re in Kilkennny) will get you the special menu. The menu is available from 7pm and includes a choice from four starters and four mains.

From what I can see, most of the restaurants participating are in Dublin including Dada, Jaipur, Koh and Saba. You can see the full list here.

If you’ve been looking to dip your toes into Indian cuisine (and beer), why not grab a bite at one of the participating restaurants before Thursday.
