Good Food Ireland Awards This Tuesday

THIS COMING Tuesday November 20 sees the annual Good Food Ireland conference take place at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, but more importantly The Good Food Ireland Experience Awards are on the same date where categories include Cookery School of the Year, Café of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, Culinary Haven of the Year, Regional Newcomer of the Year, Overall Newcomer of the Year, Food Lovers Choice Award and the Good Food Ireland Supreme Award.

Locals (to me) in the running for this year’s awards include Glasrai & Goodies (Gowran, Co. Kilkenny), Mount Juliet (Thomastown, Good Food Ireland Newcomer of the Year South 2012), Royal Spice (Kilkenny, Good Food Ireland Newcomer of the Year South 2012) and Goatsbridge Trout Farm (Good Food Ireland “Come and See” Food Producer of the Year 2012).
