The countdown is on to Christmas, traders are plotting and planning for December which sees a whole flurry of markets, fairs and winter experiences on the calendar, but there’s still a few things to get to this November.

Food Summit @ Web Summit

Wild Boar. Smoked Salmon. Irish Farmhouse Cheese. Experience the very best in quintessentially Irish artisan produce – with an international flavour.Over 30 food vendors from the four corners of Ireland come together at Food Summit to share their produce with thousands of attendees from across the globe.

County Cork’s Arbutus Bread, produced by Ireland’s first Michelin Star chef Declan Ryan, became a firm favourite with Eva Longoria at last year’s Food Summit – the largest showcase of Irish artisan producers and chefs.

It’s pricey as hell for a ticket sold out, but keep an eye on Twitter for reaction and coverage. Continues until Thursday night.

Taste Of Louth

On Saturday 14th & Sunday 15h of November, the third annual “A Taste of Louth” will feature the finest local produce from Co. Louth along with Live Cookery Demonstrations and entertainment. You’ll find more at

Belfast Beer & Cider Festival

This year’s Belfast Beer & Cider Festival takes place at Ulster Hall, Belfast, running from midday on Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 November. You’ll have a chance to sample loads of beers and ciders, head to tutored tasting sessions, enjoy live music each day and much more.

For the weekend it becomes the “biggest bar in Ireland” selling around 100 real ales, ciders and perries. Check out the beer list here.

If you’ve got something happening that’s food related this month and would like to add your event to the list, just pop an email to with details and an image where possible.
