Savour Kilkenny Food Village Applications

Savour Kilkenny Food Festival
Looking for new stories in food? I've moved my food writing from Any Given Food over to kenmcguire.ie. Check the new food blog here, and follow me on Twitter @kenmcguire. On Instagram? Find me here.

Applications are now being taken for the 2012 Savour Kilkenny Food Village which runs as part of this year’s festival in Kilkenny, open to the public on the Saturday (27th) and Sunday (28th) this October bank holiday weekend. The festival injects over €2m annually into the local economy and the tented food village in October last year was visited by some 8,000 people. Weather conditions last year were a little off in the early stages but the Parade plaza and the food village wound up producing a great buzz over the two days of the five day festival.

I’ve had a sneak peek at the event listings planned and those set to be announced and there’s going to be loads of foodie craic in Kilkenny for the bank holiday. If you’re a food trader and interested in applying, grab your application form here. Options are available for those also requiring marquee / tent hire. If you have any questions on the applications, drop an email to info@savourkilkenny.com.
