Hot on the heels of the Tipperary Food Producers network’s Cooking For Christmas Extravaganza, it’s the turn of Kilkenny food producers this coming Thursday night (November 25th) at Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny to showcase their wares.
On the night, Anne Neary of Ryeland House Cookery School, in conjunction with Dicksboro GAA Club Finance Committee, will hold the Christmas Food Extravaganza, with cookery demonstration starting at 8pm.
In similar fashion to the night in Clonmel recently, a local Food Producers Fair will be held at Newpark, kicking off at 7pm and featuring
- Oldtown Hill
- Goatsbridge Trout
- Cramers Grove Ice Cream
- Highbank Organic
- Lavistown Sausages
- Shellumsrath Geese
It is a ticketed event with all tickets, priced €20 including a complimentary glass of wine. Tickets can be purchased from Newpark Hotel reception or through Dicksboro GAA Club with queries to
- Seamus on 086-6026105
- Pat on 086-3649607
No idea what’s on offer for Anne Neary’s cooking demonstration but hopefully there’ll be a few festive cooking tips to be found, plus it might give me a chance to pick up some local produce given I’m having no luck getting out of the office to make the local market on Thursday mornings. With the dates coming out too for the Christmas Food & Craft fair in December, it’s all coming up food locally.
