Getting Souped Up In Kilkenny

National Soup Week gets underway today until Sunday. Restaurants, pubs and cafés participating in National Soup Week – or Soup For Life – will donate €1 from each bowl of soup sold this week to Gorta. As a nation of soup lovers, that should result in a nice few Euro heading Gorta’s way by the end of the week.

The full list (or close to it) of participating venues around the country can be found here, but in Kilkenny we’ve got a few places taking part including Café Sol (both in Kilkenny and Thomastown), the Blackberry Café in Thomastown, the Club House Hotel on Patrick Street, Kyteler’s on Kieran Street and Cleere’s on Parliament Street, where this blog post comes from.
