The Tipperary Harvest Food Festival takes place this coming Saturday and Sunday at the Community Park in Clerihan. The aim of the festival is to promote and celebrate Tipperary’s rich heritage and tradition of producing and preparing quality artisan foods. Guests on the weekend include Catherine Fulvio who’ll be cooking up all sorts of delights between 3pm and 5pm on Sunday (at which point I’ll be screaming at the TV in the hope Kilkenny scalp Galway in the hurling final replay).
Over the weekend there will be over 40 stalls with food, ehalth and craft from local producers, with plenty to do for the family as well.
They’ve organised an Autumn Fashion Show, Barn Dance and the Festival Fun Day for Sunday which includes Catherine Fulvio’s demo, a farmer’s market, animal road show, artisan foods, craft displays, beekeepers, children’s cookery and more besides.
Keep an eye on the Tipperary Harvest Food Festival Facebook page for more details.
